I really cant agree with your opinion on Break Shift because the Cogen DLC showed how well it could be done, and Break Shift is just a repainted Model HX so with a bit of tweaking and buffing it could be capable of some crazy stuff. Why it didn't simply just remove lives is beyond me. Come on you can guess the answer kinda accurately considering the amount of bugs and this release being low key a mass beta test for the GV3 engine: They tried to but the engine's code for some reason resisted so they pulled the next available bandaid by having you start with as much as possible without it looking like it was the code cap, so 200 instead of 255.
